I’m having an issue with my website Photoroomaiapk.pro where ads are not displaying when I access the site using the Brave Browser. However, the ads show up normally when I use other browsers like Chrome or Firefox.
Some background: My website is a photo editing platform where I provide tutorials and editing services. To monetize the site, I’ve implemented Google AdSense and have been approved to show ads. The ads display correctly on other browsers, but when I open my site on Brave, there are no ads at all.
I’ve tried clearing my cache, disabling Brave’s built-in ad blocker, and even whitelisting my site, but the issue persists. I’ve also checked my AdSense account, and everything seems set up correctly on my end.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with Brave Browser not showing ads on their website? I’m wondering if there’s a specific setting or configuration I need to adjust to ensure ads are displayed correctly in Brave.
I appreciate any insights or solutions you can provide. While I understand Brave’s stance on privacy and ad-blocking, I would still like my site to be able to show ads for monetization purposes when accessed through their browser.
Your site loaded the same way on Firefox, Chrome, and Brave. I did not see any visible ads as I navigated around. However, I did not pay attention to see what might have been going on “under the hood.”
Do keep in mind that Brave blocks ads, especially anything from Google. And in general, ads are generally not seen as safe and it’s encouraged to build your websites or content without them. There are other ways to monetize things.
While you might be trying to monetize to support yourself, places like Google are using your platform to identify and track users. In addition, sometimes ads displayed to people will contain viruses or malware, or they could even be ads to scams.
For this reason, you will see that we are all encouraged to use adblockers. People using things in Chrome or Firefox won’t see your ads either, if they use things like uBlock Origin or other adblockers.
Keep in mind you have options like encouraging them to use adblockers and become a Creator through Brave so your users can help support you directly through tips. You can also make some of your content premium, provide other options of them to donate/tip you, etc.
I’m not sure if anyone from Brave will have anything much to say, but I can tell you as a user that I don’t think you’re going to have anyone be supportive of the idea of trying to make adjustments so you can show ads.
And when I speak of risks, I want to point you to articles like below if you were unaware. Do your research and you’ll see that governments and many others are strictly advising to use adblockers and how websites showing ads are a huge concern:
