Using Brave Rewards w/Self-Custody in USA?

Briefly describe your issue:
I am in Oregon in the USA. Gemini is not available and I cannot use Uphold for some strange reason. I was under the impression that I could use a self-custody option to receive my BAT rewards, but I cannot find how I would do this?
Also, is Solana an option? I am not clear on this.

Android 14 as well as Windows 10 Pro.
