Prime videos will not play on Amazon's website

Description of the issue
When selecting a Prime Video the following error message is returned:
"Your web browser is missing a digital rights component. Go to chrome://components and under WidevineCdm , click Check for update.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? [Default states are: Block: Ads/Trackers, 3rd Party Cookies, 3rd Party Fingerprinting Allow: Encrypt Connections enabled (HTTPS), Scripts] (yes/no)
Specified defaults are on. Script is off.

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? (yes/no)
No.

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no)
I do not know.

Does the site function as expected when using Chrome? (yes/no)
It works well except for viewing Prime videos.

What Brave version/Build are you using when you encounter the issue?(About Brave info)
Version 0.58.17 Chromium: 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit)

You need to install Widevine first before you can start playing DRM-protected content. You can:

  • Visit Amazon Prime or other DRM-required site (spotify.com etc)
  • Look for puzzle icon at URL bar
  • Install & Run Widevine

It should working now.

Thanks for the recommendation…but it did not solve the problem. I’ve decided to look for another alternative to Chrome. Don’t spend any further time on this issue for me as I have removed Brave from my computer.
