Description:
Heya! Greetings for whoever’s reading this.
I’ve been using Brave since the last 2 days & I’ve seen how much better it’s than other chromium-based browsers."
Since I’ve been using this, I’ve been wondering how to pause web history/browsing history in brave? In browsers like firefox, you can just pause watch history from a single-click then restart your browser to make the changes take effect.
Is this same for Brave or something entirely differently?
Please answer it below if you know the answer.
Easiest way is to create a New Profile and use it separately for doing activities which You don’t want to be Monitored/Recorded/Stored(Setup Clear data on Exit for the new Temp Profile).
If you don’t want history to be recorded ever, then I would recommend only using Private browsing windows.
Alternatively, you can set Brave to clear browsing history when you close the browser by going to Settings --> Clear browsing data --> [On exit].
While none of this is as easy as “one click” it is still pretty straightforward to clear browsing data from the browser. If you want to stop it from being recorded as you browse, use a separate profile and/or private window.
