Please simplify the opt out of save password by putting it in the settings. I am ill and not techie. I’m so sick of it, I’m thinking of getting rid of my default, favorite browser: Brave and think many who haven’t bothered to join the community and complain are sick of it also!

Not entirely clear on what you’re referring to here so please forgive me if I’ve misunderstood the issue.
You can opt out of the browser offering to save passwords in several ways, all of which are fairly straight forward and standard for all browsers. Here are a few example methods below.
Method one takes 2 steps:

Enter
brave://password-manager/settingsinto the address bar -
Toggle off
Offer to save passwords
Method two (without using the address bar) takes 4.5 steps:
- In Brave go to
Menu --> Settings(this is the half-step) - Click
Autofill and passwords - Click
Password manager - Click
Settingson the left-hand side - Toggle
Offer to save passwords“off”
Method three takes 3 steps:
- In
Settingsclick the “search” icon at the top and searchPasswords - Click
Password manager - Toggle
Offer to save passwords“off”

I am sorry missed your email trying to help. I have way too many and was clearing out my inbox when I found it. Unfortunately I have it toggled off to ask to save passwords. I’m thinking about getting a password manager and it might be a problem having brave ask to save one when I want to put it n the one I purchase.
