Brave for Android used to be able to redirect downloads to an external download manager such as ADM and IDM+ like chrome does… but that was more than a year ago and since then brave would use it’s internal download manager only…
However the downloader in brave is very limited and unreliable… breaks easily on unstable connection… keeps closing on MIUI… doesn’t resume downloading correctly most of the time doesn’t efficiently use the internet speed and slows down at times… can’t refresh the link to keep the download going… and I have to exclude the entire browser from battery optimisation “doze” to download large files in the background…
