@fanboynz I tag you again, I still see it like on the desktop. like on mobile. and it still hasnât been blocked. I also tried it in the Microsoft Edge browser with the ublock origin extension enabled and it works and it blocked it
Hi @Saoiray yes, you are right it is blocked in Stable I just confirmed it, but in the Nightly 1.71.78 version it is not blocking it I still see it on my PC, as on my Android device Stable and Nightly I still see it
@Chocolate I tested this and it seems like the issue might be with your content filters. If you donât have Easylist Cookie or Fanboy's Annoyance + uBO Annoyances enabled, youâll see cookie notices. They only get blocked when those filters are enabled.
To fix this, go to Settings â Shields â Content Filtering and enable Fanboy's Annoyance + uBO Annoyances. That should take care of it.
@Saoiray I have everything enabled on my multiplatform on PC as well as on my Android device. As shown in my screenshot. I even deleted my data on PC as well as on mobile and it doesnât work.
@Chocolate I just tested Nightly on my old Android. Itâs on 1.71.73 and there was no cookie notice. The only time it appeared was with those disabled. Iâm not sure if it will matter, but my Brave Ad Block Updater is on 1.0.7865
Also I guess should make sure, you do have Shields enabled for the website, right? Want to make sure at some point you didnât accidentally toggle the site settings for the site to off.
At least can say that the filter seems to be working as it should. But the question then would be to figure out why your specific device is having problems.
@Saoiray on my phone in the Nightly version 1.71.73 and in the Stable version 1.69.164 and in the components everything is updated. but the banner is not blocking it. itâs really strange, really.
Cc: @Mattches@fanboynz could you please help me block the banner. Iâve tagged you several times @fanboynz but havenât heard back from you. Every time I report a problem with a banner, it has to be blocked by default. So the page will be cleaner and less annoying.
