Constant Crashing on MacOS (+ crash report)

For the past 3-4 weeks, my favourite browser has been crashing at a regular intervals. I’m talking about 10-15 times a day, until I simply give up and continue with Safari. I really love this browser and this is my last shot at trying to resolve this issue, before saying goodbye for good.

Brave has recently begun crashing regularly for me too. I’ve found one way to reproduce the crash dependable. That’s by attempting to lock an NFT in the Dapper wallet and the Flow blockchain via the NBA Top Shot website. Other things are making it crash too. But this is the only one that I can make happen every time.

Thanks for reporting yall. @lincolncannon can you confirm that this is happening on Brave v1.41.100?

I’m updating to 1.41.100 today. I’ll let you know.

Using 1.41.100, I was able to lock an NFT in the Dapper wallet and the Flow blockchain via the NBA Top Shot website – no crash this time. That’s an improvement. Hopefully the other crashes will be gone too now. Thanks!

I’m using 1.41.99 on a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.5. Brave is crashing regularly, often while I’m reading an article, and not actually doing anything with it like loading a site with a lot of scripts, etc. I don’t use the wallet, I don’t use rewards, I just use it as my default browser.

It was really stable until the latest update. Any word on this issue? Is there any way to roll back an update?

I’ve had the issue, though it seems to be site-specific, suggesting tracking of some sort kills it. Specifically, if I click on navigation links on espn.com, it’ll crash more than 90% of the time.

For now, I use Firefox if I go to that site.
