Brave v1.58.137

operating system: Debian GNU/Linux 11 bullseye (x86-64)

installed Brave version: 1.58.135 Chromium: 117.0.5938.140 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Linux informs me when updates to installed software are available. About 20 hours ago, Brave v1.58.137 was available for download and installation.

I checked both this discussion group (where notices of updates are typically posted) and Brave Release Notes.

I saw no mention of v1.58.137 in this discussion group and the Brave Release Notes page shows v1.58.135 as the most recent release.

With no further information, I’m loathe to install the offered v1.58.137

Can you offer any insight(s)?

I’m not sure why the Brave website wasn’t updated, however Brave 1.58.137 included a Chromium update.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I’d been unaware of the ‘Release Notes’ Category for this discussion group. The Brave Release Notes page hasn’t yet been updated.

I’ll install v1.58.137 when I next re-boot.

Came to say the same thing, good to know the update was official.
