BAT lost when connecting to Gemini

I recently linked my Gemini with my BAT account and it seems none of the BAT i had in the account before the link has been transferred. I had over 200 BAT, went to link the accounts, it went to 0. I expected it to show up in my Gemini account once I was verified but alas, it is nowhere to be found. The Gemini account was fully verified on Jan3. Pls help.
