Adjust size of Brave browser scrollbar width

I’d like to widen the Brave browser scrollbar. I saw that someone had the same issue a year ago, but at the time the only solution (apparently) was adding an extension offered by another user. I’d rather not do that. Is there a way, now, to adjust the Brave browser scollbar width from within settings or through a tweak of its config file? Thank you.
