Started programming DOS on cassette drives in 1978. Loved accessibility of Win95, and then they’ve complicated things every new OS. I prefer Ubuntu and other open-source products.
I’m proud to have a wife and son. I do not deserve either one.
I’m a lifelong student of Logic, History, Archaeology, Philosophy, and Biblical Theology. I’m not into the Study of Religion, which folks since the Enlightenment have designated the home of humans talking about god(s).
I don’t find substituting human philosophy as the basis for Science to be an improvement. But most folks don’t even know what I’m talking about.
I fingerpick guitar (Chet Atkins style) since 1974. I write music on piano and guitar, as well as poetry. I’m obsessed with loving other people for who and where they are, rather than presuming I know it all. That is unlike most of the folks I encounter in and outside the practice of being a disciple of Jesus Christ (the real one, not the myth created by humanists).
I look forward to helping make Brave a viable resource and option on the Internet, and it disconcerts my optimism when I find issues that are not dealt with by the home office, as it were.
I’ve been a journalist for over 40 years; a teacher, professional trainer, instructor of trainers, and more to this stage of my life. I am often not amused by “new trends” (ergo did you know Percy Bysshe Shelley and his wife -who wrote Frankenstein- were “Free Love” enthusiasts, did psychoactive drugs, hence Ozymandius and Frankenstein and more?) Probably not. Public Education being what it is today, how would folks learn about the facts.
I love BBQ, I love grilling (different than bbq), soul food, and listening to the people’s music (which isn’t the crap styled by corporate interests that inundates Pop Music since the 1950s.)
I wish you peace, and will attend to that myself as much as it depends upon me. But that also is a Biblical command, and hereby I denote myself as someone who takes the Bible seriously and not someone who thinks we should start being ad hoc revisionists about anything.
