When I was 12, I saved my allowance for a year and went out and bought a Commodore VIC-20 on my thirteenth birthday. My first computer hack was soldering together a RAM expansion board for said Commodore VIC-20. My first computer program was typing 1’s and 0’s in machine code out of Compute! magazine.

Add some military training, more certifications than you shake a stick at, about fourty years and a whole lot of cussing on to that description, and you’ve got a general picture of my computer experience.
