youTube videos mute and cannot unmute after switching between apps

Description of the issue: When I start watching a YouTube video from brave browser on my iPhone, if I have to switch to another app momentarily to check for example a message that I have, after coming back to brave browser and resuming the video, now the video is muted. The only way to unmute is to close the brave browser app and restart it. I uninstalled the brave browser and reinstalled it, it worked normally for a minute and again the problem reappeared.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Play a video on YouTube
  2. Switch between apps (for example iMessage)
  3. Switch back to the video

Expected result: the video will mute and there is no way to unmute it
