Watching a YouTube video in Brave browser, the settings gear on the top right that’s used to change video quality only dims the whole display but window with the settings is not seen, like it’s outside the FOV or something.
@Lelmus I just tested on my iPhone and don’t have the same issue. Could you do a favor and provide some of the extra information that had been asked when you created this topic? Such as:

What version of Brave are you using?

What version of iOS are you on?

What type of device is it? (especially iPad vs iPhone)
Beyond that, to advise:
- Does disabling Shields have any impact?
- If you open in a private window, do you have the same issue?
The problem is on my iPhone 16 max pro and everything it up to date. I also tested this on safari web browser and it’s the same there too. So it must be YouTube’s bug. On iPad there is no issue in mobile mode or desktop mode.
@Lelmus I tested on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and don’t have the issue. I’m on iOS 18.3.2. And Brave had just done a new update 6 hours ago, so the newest is 1.76 (77).
It’s good to say specific numbers. While you may be accurate, there have been a lot of times people claimed to be on the most recent versions but later discovered they weren’t. So specifics helps to eliminate assumptions by everyone.
So does make me wonder if perhaps it’s specific to your device type. If you haven’t already, maybe try to restart your phone and see if that helps. And if haven’t done so lately, maybe check again to make sure no updates are available.
Probably unrelated since is a different website and OS, but I find it interesting as your issue is similar to You can't change the quality of live streaming on kick.com with the shields up as well. Though since you are saying also happening on Safari, not sure if it would be related to adblocker. Not sure if you might have some adblocker for your Safari? If so, both might have a similar filter that’s blocking something.
If you get a chance, would be great to test without Shields as well just to see if there’s an issue.

Search for “Focus Music for Work – Deep Concentration Chill Beats for Coding and Study” and you’ll see on iPad or iPhone settings gear in mobile mode just dims the display and no way to change the video quality.

Tried with Shields off, in private mode, etc. So no idea what the trigger is.
