Description of the issue: when click on a video it plays but url stays at youtube.com and i cant just press ALT + Left(Right) to switch videos
How can this issue be reproduced?
Expected result: simple watching videos

I can’t replicate this. I went to YouTube and clicked on a video, the URL changed. It went from:
https://www.youtube.com/ → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56FhL_ZelOw → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEl98kxfXiQ → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJKgOKHOOBg
So as you see, all different URL.

Anyway, can you test with Private Window and see if it happens? If it persists, try to create a new browser profile and test there. Just curious if cookies, extensions, or other things might be playing a part.
I have the same problem.
The url does not change unless I physically click within the address bar.
@dakko Can you do as I suggested in the prior comment? Try with Private window. Then if it happens there, also try on new browser profile?
I know I just watched a lot of YouTube even moments ago and it’s always updating even without me clicking on address bar. Even having videos on autoplay and it just shifting to next video on its own will change the URL. So definitely trying to figure this out.
Also, if you can possibly share a link where this is happening, might be able to see if it’s just something along with the content.
Oh, should also ask, you using anything like a VPN or proxy?
Yes you don’t have that bug. So bugs are fixed by changing from profile 1 to another work profile. So it’s a profile bug
Youtube videos play but it doesnt change the url.
In private window nothing changes
