Youtube Notification Bell Not Displaying With Shields Up on Latest Version

-Windows 10 Pro 20H2 and Version 1.28.105 Chromium: 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)
-I get the same result in private window
-Shields down made a difference, but I want my shields up. Not down.
-Disabling extensions made no difference.

If this isn’t fixed I’m going back to Chrome.

We are talking about Brave Desktop

  1. I am using Windows 10 , and Brave Version is the Latest 11 August Update
  2. Yes sir it makes no difference , The problems still persist . Are you also talking about a tor window ?
  3. Yes Everything starts working Properly , but Turning off Brave Shields also allows Youtube ads which Which is veryyyyyyyy much annoying

Looks like someone beat me about 5 minutes to opening a Github issue for this – either way, we’re capturing data on the issue here and are looking into it presently:

Hi, having same problem here. I cannot click on notifications or any other button. Well, I can click, but nothing happens. This is since the latest update from Brave on Linux Mint yesterday.
When I use Google Chrome or any other browser, it works just fine,
So ergo, it MUST be a bug with the latest update of Brave.
If it displays a notification, I click on it, but the menu does not appear, it does remove the notification however.
[edit] The problem persist when using incognito/private mode [/edit]

Same with my Ubuntu 21.04 box and the latest update of Brave.

By the time I wokeup, it was already up-to-date, so I believe the Brave devs already pushed it. But for anyone that doesnt have the Brave Ad Block Updater at Version: 1.0.1030, then this does the trick! Cheers m8.
