YouTube not loading as logged in

Description of the issue:
Beginning the evening of 17 February 2025, when I go to YouTube.com on my windows 11 desktop, the page shows no suggested videos and prompts me to sign in, even though I’m signed into my Google account. When I click the sign in link, I’m redirected to the error page YouTube.com/oops. If I open an incognito window, visit YouTube.com, and click the sign in link, I’m able to sign into my Google account, but then I’m once again redirected to the oops page. I tried signing in with a different account in a new incognito window with the same result
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Visit YouTube home Page. If you aren’t signed in, try to do so

Expected result:
Normal YouTube home Page with suggestions and various links to subscriptions etc

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.75.178 Chromium: 133.0.6943.98 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:

If I follow a direct link to a video, the video loads fine, as do suggested videos, but the suggestions are not personalized and I’m not logged in.
YouTube functions as normal on Chrome

I had a similar experience.

  • Cleared cache, cookies, history, site data.
  • Exit / Quit BB.
  • Changed VPN connection.
  • Started BB and went to YouTube.com

Repeated those steps a couple times, and finally YouTube.com responded “normally.”

So, it seemed that YouTube.com was not satisfied by the previous WAN IP (Internet IP address - or range of).

Cleared cache, restarted, and repeated the process and that did it. thanks
