Description of the issue: Youtube videos pause and load every 2 minutes and Youtube doesn’t even buffer ahead of where you are in the video. Sometimes the video completely just stops playing all together.
Im using version - Version 1.46.144 Chromium: 108.0.5359.128 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Thank you for reaching out.
Do you see this happen with other websites that you visit (slow loading) or is it just YouTube? For example if you go to this wired.com video, does the video buffer and play normally or does it show the same behavior?
Thanks for helping.
So its only Youtube Twitch no issues at all. So the video buffers but you don’t see any buffering occurring in the timeline in grey, and sometimes the video will go to 360p and then start playing for a minute or 2 and then start the cycle all over again.
Can you try clearing cache/data for Youtube.com by visiting the site, clicking the “lock” icon in the address bar, then
Site settings —> Clear data? Then refresh and try viewing YT content again and check to see if you get the same behavior.
If that doesn’t work, can you try viewing YT in a Private browsing window (
Menu --> New Private window) and test to see if you get the same results there?
If that doesn’t work, please go to stream some YT content, then open up the dev tools console window (
Menu --> More Tools --> Dev tools), click on the
Console tab in the window and share a screenshot of any output you see here?
