Brave Linux’s support for Youtube DRM is broken is latest release
Youtube free movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBGFONxNpVQ playback fails with "Your browser can’t play this video. "

How can this issue be reproduced?
open https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBGFONxNpVQ in brave linux
Expected result:
no issue playing back videos with youtube DRM

):
Version 1.29.77 Chromium: 93.0.4577.63 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
Ubuntu 20, same video doesn’t have issue with Chrome Chromium 93.0.4577.63 (Official Build) snap (64-bit) which has the same exact same user agent “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/93.0.4577.63 Safari/537.36”
Widevine setting is an Enabled / Disabled switch, here:
brave://settings/extensions
Brave Support will need to know:
your versions of Linux / Ubuntu
your version of Brave Browser
have you specifically toggled the widevine switch — and what happened as a result
might your firewall(s) be thwarting some port number needed by Amazon in order to communicate well with your computer

turned out I didn’t have Widevine enabled in settings
After enabling it in settings and restarting Brave, now it is all working
