I’m having a problem with YouTube, I don’t really know if this is a Brave’s issue, but I post this in here in case someone knows how to fix this.
This never happened before and now it’s been happening for like 4 weeks, and not only to me but to more friends of mine that use Brave.
If this is a YouTube issue let me know, because I’m not sure if i should be posting this in this category, thanks!
Description of the issue: Every time I turn my computer on and I open Brave to watch YouTube videos, YouTube (only YouTube) logs me out from all my Google accounts and I have to log in back every time this happens, and it’s so annoying
Expected result: It shouldn’t log out from all of my Google accounts every time I turn on my computer, some weeks ago this wasn’t happening, but it is now for some reason and it’s already being too annoying.
Additional Information: This only happens at YouTube’s website. Also I don’t have any extension that could cause this issue (I literally have no extensions)
@okita can you please visit youtube.com and check the Shields settings for the site (lion icon in address bar) and ensure that you do not have it set to Block all cookies (Block third party cookies is okay) and also ensure that Forget me when I close this site is toggled “off”?
These are my settings for the shields, I don’t know if block trackers & ads may be the problem, but I didn’t have "Forget me when I close this site" enabled before, and I also checked the cookies in my Brave settings and I have them allowed everywhere too, any other ideas of what may be happening? Thank you!
