For the last 24 hours I’ve been having issues with Youtube on my Brave (desktop) browser. At first, the pages loaded slowly, but this morning it just wouldn’t load properly.
Youtube worked fine up to the point where it didn’t.
I have a Youtube premium account, but I do use adblockers on Brave for other sites.
I have tried accessing Youtube with Chrome and Opera and have no problem there.
My Brave version is 1.78.97 Chromium: 136.0.7103.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Videos not showing in mini mode only sound I mean when your scrolling through the videos and stop on one it should start playing but doesn’t unless you click on it and open it fully
Mini mode? I’m on a desktop PC. I have not changed any settings, I have not installed any new addons.
Youtube worked fine until 24 hours ago.
The site doesn’t even load, as you can see in the printscreen. If I try to go straight to a link of a certain video (see attached printscreen) I get the same image with the video and a page that doesn’t load. I deleted the cache, history and permissions for youtube and the problem still persits.
I was referring to Brave on IPhone that was the one with the issue I also have brave on my Windows PC but that works just fine if your still having issues try messing with braves setting I enabled sound in background when setting up! but then realised I have a issue so I messed with settings again and switched that off, enabling and disabling can sometimes trigger an issue to correct itself as it is connected to playback so worth a try!
One day I though it would be a good idea enabling more ad block lists and then I realised that comments on YouTube was gone and some other stuff..
So be careful when messing for example with the ad block list, there is some options there that will disable some stuff.
