Description of the issue:
Hello everyone, Brave for Android user here.
Sometimes on Youtube I have problem with fullscreen mode, like in the photo:
I’ve found a past thread that discuss on this issue.
Are there any updates?
To me, it happens only when entering the full screen mode in not landscape mode, so with autorotation off also. If I rotate the screen first (and so the website), then tapping on the fullscreen button always give the correct fullscreen mode as a result.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Go to Youtube.
- Open a video.
- Enter in fullscreen mode.
Expected result:
Sometimes the video appears shifted on the low side, partially disappearing.
I cannot reproduce this on Chrome (but here instead sometimes the screen becomes black for a second and then enter correctly in fullscreen mode).

Mobile Device details
Samsung Galaxy S24.
Additional Information:
- 720p/1080p doesn’t matter for my issue.
- Firefox for Android and Samsung internet also don’t have this problem.
- I got the first Android security patch update, nothing changed.
- CPU Exynos 2400.
