Youtube flashing and unpredictably changing the color scheme

Hello everyone,

when watching youtube videos the video continuously flashes during playback. I’m not entirely sure but I think it occurs as a consequence of moving my cursor. When I don’t move the cursor, it seems to be working but when I drag it just a little bit everything flashes (I recorded a video of that). Another thing which only occasionally occurs is that the picture of the video rapidly changes it’s color scheme from normal to almost entirely black with a little bit of red (hard to explain and I couldn’t replicate it just now) - it’s not really an inverted color scheme but just very dark… I’ve had the latter one happen on Webex as well and on other websites or in the main window the lettering shifts a little and gets a bit distorted until I move my cursor (I included a picture of that as well)! The color scheme problem is occuring since almost a year now I think but the video flashing is quite new or at least it hasn’t happened in that frequency so far.

This is the video link (can’t be copyright striked since this is my own video): https://www.mediafire.com/file/5gubb0wvcime475/2021-09-26+13-19-13.mkv/file

The issue also presents itself when I turn the brave shields off (usually I have the default settings with harsh tracker and fingerprint settings).

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? No.

Brave version [Version 1.29.81 Chromium: 93.0.4577.82 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)]

Thanks in advance!

Addition: It only flashes when I drag my cursor over the video itself (the rest of the website doesn’t matter)…
