Youtube desktop mode Freezes on ipad air

Description of the issue:
Youtube desktop on Ipad Air not functioning correctly, cannot scroll down and refresh. App will freeze.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Open youtube.com, scroll down to the bottom. Screen freezes.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:
Shouldn’t freeze.

Began happening today.

When you’re scrolling down, it’s streaming in content as gone down (images, text). So depending how quick the wifi is (or other bottlenecks) stutters could occur. Even on my Wifi6 setup, I saw some stutters on my ipad when scrolling, as it was loading in comments and showing the YT sidebar.
