YouTube captions only showing on private window

I’ve started having this issue with Brave today where captions wont appear on youtube videos unless I use a private window. I’ve tried different devices and different browsers, captions work just fine, the issue only seems to happen with Brave. I’ve tried logging out of my youtube account, turning off shields but nothing seemed to fix it. Strangely the captions are displayed normally on a private window.
Has anyone else had this issue before?

Brave version v1.70.119

@andedopisi difference between normal and private windows are:

  1. Private starts a session with no cookies
  2. Private disables all extensions (unless you have changed setting to allow in private)

So if it works in private but not normal, you would be able to that the fault is likely one of the two.

Thanks for the feedback. The issue ended up fixing on it’s own, I guess it was a bug or something.
