Youtube ads have no skip button and no longer blocks ads either

Why do ads keep playing on youtube !?

for the past 8 months using brave browser my ads on you tube were blocked now they play not once but multiple times in a row for every single video i watch. Please help block them again. I dont understand why this is happening? thanks vlad
