Wrong YouTube Channel

Hi Folks,

Just installed Brave today. I’ve been watching tutorials & currently reading a HowTo article to configure it. I’m very excited to learn about & start using this superb browser!

I got both my websites verified. I created & added an Uphold wallet.

I have two YouTube channels. It appears Brave will only allow for 1?

Thanks fine.

However, I can’t add the YouTube channel I’d like to use. I can remove the current channel OK. Then when I click add, rather than allowing me to designate the other channel, it just defaults to the one that I don’t want to use.

I did a brief search on the forum & could not find anything about this exact issue.

I’m using Linux Mint 18.4 based on Ubuntu 16.4. Brave Version 1.8.86 Chromium: 81.0.4044.129 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I tried removing it & waiting a few hours, & it does the same thing.

Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Mark

You have 2 YouTube channel in the same gmail account? cc @steeven @Asad for assistance here

Eljuno,

Thanks for the response. I could have explained this better. I have two YouTube channels with two different GMail accounts. Not the same GMail. In Brave I added the wrong one. When I remove the current one (that I don’t want), & select Add Channel, it doesn’t give me the option of selecting my other YouTube Channel. It just keeps putting the one that I don’t want there.

thanks,

Mark

Can you try logging out all your Gmail account. Try re-add the channel, and when it’s prompt you to login, you login with the correct one?

OK, will log out right now.

That did it, Eljuno. Thanks much, sir.

Mark
