Would like to use Brave Browser as a base to customize from

Hi there!

What kind of conditions or restrictions are there in having us use the Brave Browser code as a base to develop a more customized browser from including a different logo, look and feel, etc…? I’m not clear from what I could find in github and in the terms of use within the browser itself.

If it’s better to speak to someone directly about this, just let me know.

Hi, the laptop browser is licensed under MPL, as you could confirm here: https://github.com/brave/browser-laptop/blob/master/LICENSE.txt

so basically as long as you don’t break tradamark right limitation under the conditions provided above, you could freely modify, distribute, use commercially, etc. Please consult with a professional for a legal advise.
