Windows 11 file manager freeze downloading or uploading a file using Brave

Description of the issue:
Windows 11 save as or open with Brave stable or beta result in dialog appearing with “we are working in it” message before show any file during 30 seconds approximately. This issue only appear with Brave stable and beta (beta as recent installed without any configuration changed and no addons, just defaults), other browsers like Chrome Edge Firefox Vivaldi etc. don’t present this issue. Also during this issue all Brave related tabs or Windows remains as non responsive.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open any site with a picture pdf etc in any format or to upload file
  2. Window to select where save or upload appear but it’s not responsive until 30 seconds approximately
  3. After that everything work normally until you again need to upload or download file, which result in the same behavior

Expected result:
Quicker file exploration window without Brave entirely freezing (this don’t happen with other apps)

Hi,

I found a fix to this issue and Brave and Brave beta is no longer having this behavior. Disconnect and reconnect all mapped network drives in Windows Explorer unexpectedly solved the issue.
