Will not sync everything

Description of the issue:
Sync works fine on ios to pc computer, but it does not sync EVERYTHING even though it is checked to sync EVERYTHING on both devices, just syncs bookmarks that is about it.

Hello - Under Type Info at brave://sync-internals do you see any discrepancies?

it just states “enable the sync feature”

What do you see at brave://settings/braveSync ?

@trav90210 also note that the link of Syncable data types available on iOS is less than what is available to be synced on Android/desktop.

I have the option set to sync EVERYTHING and when i try to leave the sync it closes that window and when i open manage sync devices im back there again linked but it won’t actualy alow me to leave snyc

i have use my iphone to sync to my laptop and it sync completely maybe because i had a laptop i initially used as the main user of the sync chain and then i used my iphone to sync it to the laptop but when i go rid of the laptop i didnt leave the sync chain from the laptop

i have tried sync on 2 laptops now. it only sync the bookmarks

Just to clarify, on iOS you can Sync:

  • Bookmarks
  • Passwords
  • Addresses
  • Open Tabs

So if you are expecting data types other than those, they will not be there. Can you confirm that when you Sync your iOS data to your laptop, you don’t see Passwords, Addresses or Open Tabs appear in the laptop?
