Why there is no "Search Google for this image" anymore?

(no need for content)

Hi @kamran,
I’m getting the Search Google For Image option. What Brave version are you on?
Also, can you provide an example site that you are using where you don’t see that option?

Hi @Aa-ron,
Version 1.4.96 Chromium: 80.0.3987.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Every website, including google.com

Can you go to https://www.reddit.com/r/nocontextpics/, right click on an image (preferably the same one as I did) and provide a screenshot of what’s inside the context menu.
e.g. Here’s what I see. I’d like to see what you see.

Can you try disabling all of your extensions and seeing if the option Search Google For Image comes back? If so, you can then try enabling them one by one to see which one is causing the issue.

Also, did you have Google as your default search engine under Settings, @kamran?

EDIT:
Tested on my end, and only Google and Bing that provide Search _default search engine_ for image when those SE is set as default SE @Aa-ron.

@Aa-ron @eljuno I remembered something that probably caused the issue. I have deleted Google from search engines, then added manually again (and set as default). And the reason for it was that originally, URL with %s in place of query contained much (seems useless to me, probably for tracking) query parameters, while my version is just https://www.google.com/search?q=%s. All unnecessary code should be absent from here from start by default.

Edit: try to delete Google from search engines, then add it again, this time with original URL with %s in place of query, to see what happens.
