As far as I can see Brave is only downloadable via a small Installer.
I hate Installers in general since they could load successively unpredictable other stuff.
Why isn’t there a good, old full offline, portable *.zip package for Brave which simply needs to be extracted?

Maybe you’ll find something here: https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases
Always keep in mind that the setup.exe will always fetch the latest available versions of the update server.
But tbh i understand that there is a certain interest in controlling the installation files.
