Why is the Sync doing this?

Description of the issue:
sync not working properly on my iPad and iPhone
How can this issue be reproduced?

Expected result:
Both devices to show up on both devices
Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.19 for iPadOS and iOS
Mobile Device details
11” 2018 iPad Pro and iPhone 11 on iPadOS and iOS 14 beta

The team is working on Sync v2 that will fix many issues. Will be available for desktop and android, and iOS support will coming later.

Sync is doing this because it is simply unreliable and not rally working. There is not much you can do about it.

A new version of sync has long been announced by Brave. This new version will hopefully be available soon (whatever that means). However the new sync version for iOS is still further ahead on the road. Brave is not yet able to give an ETA for the new sync version for iOS.

For the time being try sync on iOS at your own risk and assume it will not work.
