Why is spell check so bad?

Up-to-Date Chromium ARM (Mac desktop version). It seems to be fine for flagging misspelled words, but seldom offers suggestions when right-clicking for the context menu, even when it’s fairly obvious.

I’ve been using Brave for about a year, and honestly this is my only complaint. Can’t seem to find any answers either.

Thank you for reaching us and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. Please try In Private mode or Guest Window to see if the behavior persist . If that works, try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.

You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menu → Open Guest window:

  1. On your computer, open Brave.
  2. At the top right, click Menu → More tools → Extensions.
  3. On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.
