Why does the browser remember my social security number when I never told it to?

Why does the Browser know my social security number?

When I am filling out a form and the form asks for my social security number, or the Last 4 of my social security number I click it and it knows it.

I am not putting a pic of it due to privacy.

The Browser should not remember something that privet.

After the first time and when I sync to other devices.

Windows 10 and Android 9-11. Browser [Version 1.32.115 Chromium: 96.0.4664.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I would also like to know where to delete that information.

Hello xblue555 , I think your problem may be your setting in autofill . Go to settings in the Brave browser and look for Autofill .

Select Addresses and more…

Toggle the slider to off as shown.
As far deleting stored data in the Brave Browser , go to settings> Privacy and Security…Clear browsing data.

You have three tabs Basic,Advanced, on Exit. Explore these setting and you can manage what Brave retains or not.

Welcome to Brave and this should fix your concerns.

 This is accurate. Additionally, you can delete individual autofill entries by highlighting them when they appear (using the down arrow key), then pressing Shift + Delete.
