Why does Brave keep prompting me to go to MarketWatch?

Started with Brave last week. I’m really liking it so far.

But I keep getting notifications about the same story in MarketWatch (where to retire). I’ve clicked on it a few times, but my rewards wallet says I don’t have any transactions.

I updated this afternoon, and promptly got a notification to read a story in Barron’s about where to retire (!?!) I don’t read investment sites, and I’m not ready to retire!

Are the MarketWatch (and Amazon) prompts part of the rewards program, or is there something else going on?
