Why does a gamecontrollerd process run when i download brave?

When i download brave and chrome i get this process running on my mac /usr/libexec/gamecontrollerd why? ReilKey tells me its key-logging

any help to let me no what it is i take privacy serious and if brave do to they should tell me what it is

I would like to know if/how to disable this to; if listening to my keyboard. Found after running ReiKey too on Big Sur on MacOS.
