Why did 1Password extension stop working when going from Catalina to Big Sur?

Migrated from mid-2012 Macbook Pro, Catalina, v7.7 of 1Password (this was working) to M1 Macbook Pro, Big Sur, v7.7 of 1Password (this is not working).

Please advise.
