Where is menu bar and how add to favourits

Hi, Forgive my ignorance but I am new to the world of the internet and its terminology. I am on w10 previously IE 11 and outlook for my emails. IE seems slow so have today downloaded Brave. Looks good and is fast. I have transferred over my favourites but I dont know how to get the menu bar with “menu, tools, favourite etc”,. Also when I find an item I want to keep how do I add it to a “favourites” bar for future reference. I hope the above makes sense. many thanks jack

Click the button at the top-right corner of the window.
