Where in Settings on 0.69 do I configure how I want to handle updates?

There’s no setting for that, @romad. Brave will check and update in the background whenever a new version is available.

Sorry for the delay replying; PG&E has condescended to turn the power back on in our area.

That is unfortunate as I do not want any updates installed automatically. I review them and then decide if the update is urgent, can wait awhile, or is totally not needed. Autoupdating software is a major security threat.
