Where does Brave store session file on Mac High Sierra?

Brave crashed and lost my more than 100 open tabs. When I restarted, History | Recently Closed was grayed out. So I am trying to manually restore the session file from backup, but I can’t find it.

I looked in ~/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser, but there is no file there named session-store-1. In fact, I did “find . -name session* -print” in my home directory and there is no file related to Brave starting with “session” anywhere in my directory tree. (It did find some files under Firefox and TorBrowser, but I assume they are not related to Brave.) A similar search in /Library also turned up nothing.

I’m sure it has this data somewhere, because if I quit Brave and start again it brings back my tabs, but where is it? I searched other posts for this and the only answer I found, " ~/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser," is not correct on my installation. Another post said it is “~/Library/Application Support/brave”, but there is no folder with that name there.
