I think that I am not the only one who has been waiting for windows from Thor to Brave for many years, when will our hopes come true?
I’m wanting to say the chances of anything being done with Tor is slim to none for mobile devices.
Just to show where I poked on it, back in October of last year, they tagged in the people in charge to ask about priority but it went unanswered.
So Sergey, one of the Android devs, at least responded. But the Project Manager for Mobile never did publicly respond. I’m assuming it’s just a very low priority. Not enough of a demand and perhaps a heavy lift.
I’ll tag in @Mattches in case he might happen to know much of anything on the chances of it happening.

I haven’t heard any updates on this in quite some time. Can check in with Android team and see what the latest is.

@Mattches actually will tag you in on this again, especially as just came up on a new topic at Questions regarding certain features both implemented and not.
I tagged Sergey a while back and he tagged in Tim Childs (@tchilds) and Anthony Keane over on the GitHub for priorities, but neither ever responded.
Hoping one of them, @clifton, or yourself can shed more light on overall thought. I’m assuming just staying P4 and no direct roadmap to it, but isn’t something they are saying no to. Just a very low priority. Yet always good to have some sort of input for people instead of complete silence. Especially since no real movement since around 2019.

Went ahead and pinged Anthony on the issue and a couple folks internally for an update. Sadly my own response would be the same as it was last time in that haven’t heard any further rumblings about this. We’ll have to wait and see who responds in the issue.
