Hello @Varuna!
Could you show me an example of the type of video you are trying to view? When I go to the site, the only videos I could find were embedded Youtube videos. These videos load and play fine, but would show up blank if I had the “block scripts” setting enabled in my Shields panel. This may also be the issue you’re experiencing on your end. I’ve attached a gif below showing the steps I took:

Try disabling “block scripts” and if that doesn’t work, reply back with your about:brave info and what operating system you’re currently using, and any other information that might help us and I’d be happy to help resolve the issue

The site is not Oreilly it’s https://www.safaribooksonline.com. The video was from one of the courses at https://www.safaribooksonline.com. For every video always the black page is not coming, but sometimes. It comes suddenly. That’s why I thought it to be a bug.

Apologies for the miscommunication. After reading what you said, I created a temp account on the website and was able to access videos without any issue:

When trying to view a video (initially) did you “allow” safaribooksonline.com to play media when Brave asked? Also, Brave uses a special version of Flash (Pepper Flash) which needs to be installed to view many embedded videos/media. To confirm, go to Settings --> Plugins --> Toggle “Enable Adobe Flash Support” and be sure to install Pepper Flash. This may resolve the issue.

If you have Pepper Flash installed and have granted access to the website to play media then we’ll have to try further troubleshooting. In that case, if you wouldn’t mind uploading a gif in your reply (you can use LICEcap, fast, easy, light, and free screen recording tool) of you attempting to navigate to a video that won’t play, it would help visualize the issue and expedite the troubleshooting process.

Thank you

The back page is not displayed always when a video is played. It comes sometimes only, like if you go to another tab and come back or stop the video, use another program and come back again and so on.Most of the time the videos can be played without a problem.I considered that it could be a bug because the issue comes sometimes and suddenly, not according to consistent way.
