When is Brave going to withdraw BAT directly into ERC20 wallets?

Currently the only way to withdraw the BAT generated in Brave is through Uphold.

I would like to be able to transfer those BATs directly to my ERC20 wallets without depending on Uphold.

Will BATs be able to be transferred directly to ERC20 wallets? If so … is there a date? Or can it only be done by Uphold if or if?

Yes I’m very curious about this too. uphold doesn’t support my state so I can’t withdraw

For now, Uphold is the only supported method. The team may add other method in the future.

@Ensaladilla - “Will BATs be able to be transferred directly to ERC20 wallets?” - I would say…never, team would lost control over the BAT distribution (in case of some bug or eg some fraud done on client side)
