What items does a search in the address bar match?

I’m using Brave 1.18.1 on an iOS 13.5.1 device. I have a good amount of bookmarks in Brave. When I type into the address bar directly beneath it tells me it is displaying matching URLs from history and bookmarks. However bookmarks are never matched, history entries are though.

Simple question: Do the matching entries showing up beneath the address bar when typing indeed match bookmarks? Or do they only match history entries?
