You’re seeing these because each Brave tab/window/extension/etc is it’s own process, including it’s own renderer. What you’re seeing is the total number of
Renderer processes running in each tab, window and extension you have open at the time.
I always have a disturbing many tabs open, so I kill them in the Task Manager to save PC resources. Because the Renderers stay alive and use so many resources even after I kill all my tabs, can I kill them?
Renderer’s will close/quit when the associated process is closed/quit – if you still see renderers running, it’s because they’re still in use.
What do renderers do?
It does what its name suggests.
