Description of the issue:
Hi everyone,
Whenever I search through Brave or open a link, Brave will redirect to the link below before the webpage:
http://localhost:6571/about/home/#panel=0
Not sure if this is normal or not? I’ve never seen this before.
Brave Version:
Version 1.20
Mobile Device details
iPhone X iOS 14.1

How did you verify this?
Are you using a protocol analyzer?

Thank you for the fast reply. No, I’m not using a protocol analyzer. In all honesty, I don’t even know what that is.
I’ve attached a picture of what I see.

That’s actually a bug that was submitted quite a while ago … are you sure about the version you’re running?

Yes, I’m sure. Version 1.20 (20.09.11.20)
I tried duplicating the issue on my iPad and it did the same thing.
I noticed that the bug report stated that it’s exclusively on Brave Rewards, but I’m getting it on every tab.

I also thought that it would be important to mention that this redirect causes my browser to double the HTTPS upgrades. Every time I visit a website that doesn’t have HTTPS, Brave will consider it to be two upgrades.
