I’d encourage you to update your original post and change the category to Web Compatibility
and to also fill out the form that would populate there (I’ve also added a couple things myself which I’ve found helpful - “Additions to the current template” and it’s a bit of a MASTER template I’ve created, just fill out as much as possible if you would), though it looks like you did answer a couple questions so good job, don’t mean to criticize, just a couple tips to make it more effective to help you…
Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. Have you tried testing things in a NEW Profile? (Brave Settings > More Tools > New Profile or Guest Profile)
(Yes/No?):
AND/OR
Have you tried testing things in a different version of Brave? (e.g. Beta, Nightly)
(Yes/No? If so which or all?):
Do you have any Extensions enabled? (yes/no, if yes, have you tried disabling them one-by-one to test?):
Do you have any other Privacy/Security applications OUTSIDE of Brave? (VPN, Adblockers, Anti-Virus/Malware, Firewalls, etc.) (yes/no, if yes, have you tried disabling them one-by-one to test?):
OK
I have some weird behaviour if i go to * brave://settings/cookies i have an entry already but its not formatted correctly. So i went to hit the bin nothing happens in fact none of the bins on any site work !
I added your suggestions still makes no difference!
Also you mention abour adding these particular settings when adding them i see no place to add any settings.
So, if you cannot find in the general settings, the “Sites that can always use cookies” selection, then Brave probably now expects users to manage the Shields (the icon) settings when visiting a website.
