I’m trying to watch some movies on my MBP and some work, but many will not start and I get an error message “Failed to initialize media keys for EME”. Please, I prefer to use Brave if possible. Thanks.
@Pegoman I just created an account and tested. Originally no problem. Then I had a suspicion, so I went to brave://settings/extensions and disabled Widevine. That resulted in your issue:
So in short, you need to enable Widevine. They have DRM protection enabled. So if Widevine isn’t active, you can’t view their content.
